Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and Ownership

BattlemapAI is a service operated and owned by Gauthier Propulsion. The BattlemapAI brand, the battlemapai.com website, the source code, prompt templates, user interface, design elements and all intellectual property related to the service belong exclusively to Gauthier Propulsion. By using BattlemapAI you agree to these terms. The service is intended for tabletop RPG use and related content creation.

2. License to Use Generated Maps

Personal and tabletop use only. BattlemapAI grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use generated maps in your private RPG games: personal printing, sharing with your table, use in your online sessions (Roll20, Foundry VTT, Discord), and non-commercial sharing on your personal social media with credit to BattlemapAI.

Resale and redistribution prohibited. You may not: resell generated maps (individually or in bundles), include them in paid commercial products (RPG modules, books, asset packs, NFTs, printed merchandise), redistribute them on third-party platforms (DriveThruRPG, itch.io, paid Patreon tiers, stock-image sites), or use them to train other AI models. Any commercial exploitation requires prior written agreement with BattlemapAI.

No uniqueness guarantee: different users may obtain visually similar results from similar prompts. BattlemapAI does not guarantee output uniqueness.

3. Prohibited Uses

Prohibited: sexual content involving minors, incitement to real-world violence, targeted hateful content, trademark infringement, or any use illegal under US, Canadian, or your local law.

4. Credits, Subscriptions & Refunds

Purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled anytime from your customer portal. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or an explicit satisfaction guarantee applies.

5. AI Model

BattlemapAI uses third-party AI models via gateway (Google Gemini, etc.). Provider terms apply to generation but do not restrict your ownership of commercial outputs.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". BattlemapAI is not liable for commercial losses arising from use of generated maps.
